Before sharing the QR

Upload the HTML file to your website.
Use the full public HTTPS page address.
Save the latest tournament details.
Test the link in a private/incognito window.
Submit one test registration and verify the dashboard.

Data safety reminder

Browser-only records can be lost if site data is cleared. Configure Drive sync and export backups.

Common questions and troubleshooting

The QR opens an old invitation

Save the latest tournament details, open QR & Share Invitation, and generate the QR again.

The QR works on my computer but not another phone

A local file:// address cannot be shared. Upload the HTML online and use its full HTTPS address.

A player is missing from the dashboard

Google Drive synchronization failed

Verify the Apps Script Web App URL and deployment access, then run Test / Create Drive Storage.

I forgot my organizer PIN

Log out, choose Reset Forgotten PIN, and use the saved recovery code. The reset is verified through Google Drive and works on another device.

Registration is showing as closed

Check the Registration open switch, deadline, and capacity. It closes automatically after the deadline or when full.

Can one browser manage several tournaments?

Yes. Create a unique Tournament Login ID for every tournament.

Does the QR contain my PIN?

No. The organizer PIN and recovery code are never included in the invitation link.

Why does cloud login say “Unknown action”?

The older Apps Script backend is still deployed. Replace Code.gs with the supplied organizer-login backend and deploy a new web-app version.

Registrations are saved locally first, then can be synced to Google Drive through your connected Apps Script backend. Export is still available as an emergency backup.

This page connects organizer accounts, registrations, and event settings to Google Drive through Google Apps Script.

Backend upgrade required: replace the existing Apps Script Code.gs with the supplied organizer-login backend, then edit the current web-app deployment and select New version. The same Web App URL can normally be retained.
